I almost bought Samsung LED yet thanks to visit to nearby BB store and thanks to store assistant bought this. I’m guilty that I just didn’t buy from BB but employed their store to compare. BB was selling for almost $600 more than Amazon, it’s impossible they PN51D8000 could price match Amazon price

Web browser, performs but useless, unclear why would you wish to use browser on TV. I tried some websites such as PBSkids and Bravo and they also didnt work well. General search is nice. DLNA is nice, no issues. May play view and also photo from PC without any issues. I am testing Play-On media server and it is working Fine.
TV remote is nice, qwerty keyboard is useful

Coming from an “old” 720p Panasonic lcd, I had high wants this XVT3D424SV TV and also boy did it deliver. Action scenes are incredibly fluid, the colors are crisp, HD sports activities broadcasts are a clean and clear. The net apps are quite neat, especially the twitter application which overlays the broadcasts you are seeing so you can tweet without missing the action. The bluetooth remote is incredibly convenient, however the lack of lighting on the distant makes it difficult to say hello to the dark. It is very light weight and very easy to setup with an easy to follow create guide as well as on monitor instructions to get you going. I bought this primarily for 3D gambling and it does not fail! Super Stardust HD in 3D is the perfect sport to showcase 3D gaming. The eyeglasses are comfortable, easy to use, yet expensive. I’m hoping the values drop soon while I’d love to have progressed to watch ESPN 3D.

I’m very satisfied with this TV, but there are some areas where it fails to get results. The best audio out and about method available on the tv screen is via Optical out. I’ve had this specific TV for a 7 days now and for the most part it’s been great. I oftentimes tried this TV to replace a 2 year old Straight talk samsung LCD 46″ 1080p that we’ve been moving to the gameroom.

To start, the picture is excellent. Its like getting High definition for the first time again. The actual default settings ended up ok but much too bright in my opinion. After dialing the backlight along and configuring the actual motion plus, it looks like I’m watching through a window.

Just the thing for gaming! I’ve spent about 20 hours or so online (Bad Co. 2 & Call of duty Black ops) and have noticed zero be from the TV. The choice is yours to gaming mode and tweak the actual black levels and you’re good to go. I couldn’t be impressed with the photo or speed.

Now for the bad….
I have 3 hardwired Xbox’s and 2 wi-fi. I also have A single hardwired PC and 1 wireless. We run 2 google android phones and a community printer all through A single router at my residence. My network has become stable for years now with no problems joining, streaming, or downloading. When I tried to operate the network setup, the tv finds the particular network but can not connect. I run the setup once more and it connects and can lose connection after about a 10 second period. It’s been the nightmare trying to get it to stay connected. Now i’m already considering ditching the wireless and losing a Cat6 cable exclusively for the tv.

The Applications fall into the bad group as well. For those of you who will be wanting to ditch cable television for internet tv set, DON’T. The applications are all free however, you will have to register along with pay for the content that you might want to watch. Also, the web browser is laughable. In the event it decides to work, the actual cursor never stops jumping around on the web site your viewing also it locks up 2 out of every 3 times I personally use it.
