I purchased this throughout January when the price tag for 3D plasma tv’s reached relative equal rights with similarly prepared 2D TVs. This is an excellent TV. Lcd TVs are best for deeper viewing areas where there isn’t light from home windows or several vivid lamps. So I would certainly say a good guide is for a well-lighted or perhaps brightly
lit areas go for LED and for darker rooms choose Plasma. My Television is in a room without a lot of bright equipment and lighting.

I use the PN59D6500 for viewing HDTV programs and Blu-ray and other Digital video disks. I am not currently considering 3D and am not using the Internet-Ready products so I can’t tackle those areas. I’d rate the picture good quality as superb. It will be hard to imagine a far better or sharper picture than I look at this TV. I haven’t noticed any calling as mentioned as a problem about plasma TVs. I have heard other people say that the larger the observing screen the better. Nicely, the 59 in . screen of this Tv set sure looks better than a 55 ” screen.

I purchase the actual Samsung HT-D6730W Home Theater Speakers to accompany the particular PN59D6500 PN59D6500 and have found it to offer excellent sound.

That is my second High-definition television. The first would be a Sony. It is not a plasma. I have been pleased with it also.
